Columbia County is currently recruiting for new Board of Health Members!

Columbia County is seeking member applications for our Board of Health.  Each local board of health 'shall have supervision over all matters pertaining to the preservation of the life and health of the people within its jurisdiction.' (RCW 70.05.060)

Three members are needed to fill newly opened positions. Guidelines for Board of Health members can be found HERE.

Time commitments to this board include one board meeting per month (usually the third Monday of the month). Board members must be residents of Columbia County, be willing to attend monthly board meetings, must fall into one of the categories listed in RCW 70.05.030, and have no personal financial interest in County funded programs or other potential conflict of interest (i.e. employee of County contracted provider).
